Christopher has been performing in the U.S. and internationally for more than thirty years. He recorded in New York with the group "Breathe Live" and with his own group, direct to two-track tape engineered by Steve Albini, in Chicago.

Rise of The Jazz Ark is the companion release to Christopher Braig's film Radio Free Newport. The session had all the hallmarks of the classic Blue Note and Prestige era of analog jazz recording. Recorded at Electrical Audio in Chicago Studio B there is no editing or mixing of any kind. The band performed live in the same room.
